COLLABORATION
Great opportunities arise where bd3T links like-minded people with common interests and achieves startling developments. Thinking out-of-the-box and across borders, throughout multi-disciplined areas of activity so that collaborative efforts win:win; producing valued and beneficial progress. Supply Chains and Partnerships collaborate to build trust in valuable working relationships, all producing, greater effectiveness through team effort and commercial success.
“We have a very exciting product development collaboration with some keen customer interest thanks to Patrick's initiative to link us up with someone we wouldn't have met otherwise”.
John Rodgers, MD of Subsea Motor Specialist, IMPAQ Limited
“Patrick introduced us to a large number of industrial partners and added commercial context to technical developments.”
Dr Joanne Whitaker, Loughborough University Enterprise Office
Examples of collaborative activities include bd3T Roadshow events, typically, such as when a new physics principle needs to be disseminated or emerging technologies find an interested ear. All such developments are presented to and discussed within small groups of companies and/or individuals. Such meetings produce ideas for more business, worthwhile outcomes, involving new processes, joint company developments and multiplied inter-trading, where unsatisfied opportunities and needs existed previously.

“The service that Patrick of bd3T provides - and the types of event he organizes - are ideal in getting the MNT message over to the industry”. Dr. Robert Hoyle, BDM, MSL.
Example of where this happened lies in the development of a vegetable processing machine. An unlikely but beneficial union of an engineer, an inventor, a farmer and food processing experts who successfully saved 800 miles of food transport and automated a labour intensive operation.
